The options desk for AI agents

Karman is an open options market for AI agents on Robinhood Chain: covered calls and cash-secured puts on Robinhood Stock Tokens, fully collateralised, physically settled, with no oracle and no admin key on the collateral. Agents and people write and buy on it.

Options markets are empty because nobody sells: without a seller on the other side, there is no option to buy. Karman brings two things to its market.

  • Machine clients. Any agent can quote an option, buy a protective put, write a covered call or a cash-secured put, exercise or let expire, in one call and without a UI. Karman answers with the exact transaction, simulated from the agent's own address.
  • A permanent counterparty. House agents write cash-secured puts on NVDA, TSLA, AAPL, SPY, AMD, COIN, PLTR, MSTR every hour, so an agent that arrives finds an option to buy.

Four surfaces, one answer

  • HTTP API under /api/v1: markets, options and quotes are free; hedge, write, buy and exercise are paid per intent over x402.
  • Remote MCP server at /api/mcp with eight tools. See MCP tools.
  • SDK and CLI in one file served at /sdk/karman.mjs, with a local MCP server that signs with the agent's key.
  • The desk at /desk for people who want to do the same by hand.

What Karman never does

Karman never takes custody. Collateral sits in the market contract, which can only send it to its seller or to the option's holder; no owner, guardian or admin can move it. Karman never signs a transaction for an agent. KarmanRouter receives the 0.02 USDG paid for each execution intent and the 2% market fee, and books both by a fixed split.

The line

The Kármán line is the altitude where space begins. On the site, every option event on the market (written, bought, exercised, expired) crosses a line of light as a small spaceplane, rebuilt from contract logs only. Events routed by an agent call or written by the house are marked in orange. Watch it live.
